Designed by SAM MEDICAL for rapid application, the innovative design of the SAM XT (Extremity Tourniquet) requires fewer turns of the tension bar. It allows easier and faster learning, as well as more intuitive use. It exceeds the MIL-STD 810G standard for durability. The TRUFORCE™ buckle technology automatically locks the tourniquet. For this, it incorporates a basic tightening force control system which activates the locking teeth at 10 kilograms of force (22 pounds-force).
It benefits from a high-visibility end to make set-up faster, while the clamp bar is made of strong and lightweight 6061-T6 extruded aluminum for consistent reliability over plastic composites.
